History
Ragnar & Hörður's Barbershop was founded on February 14, 1957 by Hörður Þórarinsson, and Trausti Thorberg. Trausti worked at the salon the first three years, while Hörður worked at the barbershop until 2007, having been standing by the chair for 60 years. Since its inception, the barbershop has been located in the heart of downtown 101 Reykjavík Iceland. Address: Vesturgata 48
In 1974, a second generation joined the salon when Ragnar son of Hörður, followed his father's footsteps and has worked there ever since.
The third generation of the barbershop are Hörður's grandchildren Gunnlaugur (Gulli) Hauksson, and Hrafnhildur Telma Þórarinsdóttir
Ragnar & Hörður's Barbershop specializes in haircuts, beard trimming, shaving, mens pampering, facial spa treatments, and gentlemens grooming.
